About the Firm

Collier Road Consulting helps businesses across the Southeast use AI and sharper operations to work smarter — not bigger. The firm was founded by Catherine Weems, who spent her career building and running operations at scale before bringing that expertise to the businesses that need it most.

Catherine started as a chemical engineer on plant floors, moved into leadership at two Fortune 500 companies, and most recently served as VP at a global technology company where she led an AI-powered logistics platform across 32 countries. She's managed supply chains spanning tens of thousands of SKUs, led multimillion-dollar capital projects, and built the automated systems that let lean teams operate at global scale.

She also advises investment firms through Guidepoint and AlphaSights on operations, supply chain, and technology strategy. Based in Atlanta, she's making that same expertise available to business owners across the Southeast.

Not Just AI — An Operator's Approach

I don't come at your business as a software vendor; I come at it as an operator. In practice that makes the role closer to a fractional COO who brings AI than a typical tech consultant. I run on an OKR mindset, lean on the discipline of Essentialism and the principles behind Measure What Matters, and structure a messy problem down to the few parts that actually move the outcome — an instinct that comes from my chemical engineering background and years of investigative work untangling complex failures, including the human factors most analyses miss. And I stay embedded long enough to carry the plan into action, not just write it.

That operator's eye is hands-on, not theoretical. I've built my own workflows and worked across the systems that actually run a business — ERPs, B2B manufacturing platforms, carrier integrations and APIs, and the data sources behind them — so I can move between tools and stitch the whole picture together. I've also learned the hard way that AI and planning tools are only as good as what you feed them: garbage in, garbage out. When I led a supply-chain migration onto a major new planning platform (Kinaxis), it only delivered once we'd reframed the underlying inputs — bills of materials, supply-planning data — and built the foundation correctly from day one. I can start at square one with you to get your data and processes lined up before we automate on top of them.
